Setting and maintaining boundaries

Personal boundaries are the ways in which we want to accept behaviors or actions from others to feel most comfortable in our relationships.

Boundaries can be either statements or behaviors that we use to express to others how we want to be treated. Setting boundaries can be hard because it requires you to uphold them and keep yourself accountable for doing so.

"My favorite definition of boundaries is the distance at which I can love you and myself simultaneously and not one at the expense of another."
