G7 #BeBrave Scorecard Report 2025

G7 scorecard cover English

The global crisis of sexual violence against children is growing. Over the past year, 82 million girls and 69 million boys have experienced some form of sexual violence; approximately 3 girls and 2 boys per second.

This is a crisis that not only violates fundamental human rights but also undermines progress across key areas, including child health, education, gender equality, and sustainable development. The expansion of online spaces has only heightened the risks children face in an increasingly digital world.

The 2025 #BeBrave G7 Scorecard provides a comprehensive assessment of G7 country policies to tackle childhood sexual violence on and offline and looks forward to what must be done to turn the tide on this urgent crisis.
