Thabile is a survivor advocate, motivational speaker, and faith leader from South Africa. At 18, Thabile learned the painful truth that she was conceived as a result of rape—a revelation that brought denial, anger, and bitterness.
Her childhood was marked by a dysfunctional environment, shaped by abuse and rejection from both her family and community. In an attempt to cope, she turned to substance abuse, which only deepened her struggles.
After reaching a breaking point, Thabile sought help and discovered her faith. This transformative journey empowered her to rebuild her life as a woman of faith, a mother, and a motivational speaker.
Today, she is resolute in her determination to create positive impact by sharing her story and fostering safe, supportive spaces for others who have faced similar challenges.
Based in South Africa, the host nation of the G20, Thabile is a member of the Brave Movement.
"The G20 summit presents a timely opportunity for addressing violence against children, and I firmly believe that our voices, as victims and survivors, are essential. As global leaders, including those from South Africa, gather to discuss issues that directly impact us, it is crucial that we share our experiences and perspectives. This will inform the development of effective solutions, support structures, and justice. As a survivor of rape, abuse, and molestation, this cause is deeply personal. I am committed to being a voice for the voiceless."
