Suresh Chhetry is the Founder and Executive Director of Healing Together Nepal and Co-founder of the Brave Movement, a global survivor-led movement to end childhood sexual violence. A survivor of childhood sexual violence, he advocates for survivor leadership, trauma-informed systems, and the prevention of violence against children.
With a background in counseling psychology and education, Suresh has trained thousands of teachers, health professionals, and community leaders in trauma-informed care across Nepal. He serves on the Steering Committee of the Global Alliance for the Protection of Boys (GAPB) and the UK Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict (PSVI) Survivor Advisory Board. He works with governments, international organizations, and civil society on child protection, mental health, and survivor-centered policy, working to ensure every child grows up safe, heard, and free from violence.
