Aisha is a Kenyan human rights advocate, communications professional, and the Founder and Executive Director of Every Girl's Dream, a grassroots organization dedicated to advancing the rights, protection, and empowerment of women and girls. She holds a background in Communication Studies, which strengthens her ability to design impactful advocacy campaigns, facilitate community dialogue, and amplify the voices of women, girls, and survivors.

Aisha is a passionate advocate for ending Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), preventing child marriage and gender-based violence, promoting girls' education, supporting mental health, and empowering young people through community-led solutions. She works closely with survivors, women, girls, youth, parents, elders, religious leaders, government institutions, and civil society organizations to challenge harmful social norms and strengthen community-based protection systems.

Through community dialogues, school outreach programs, mentorship, anti-FGM caravans, youth forums, storytelling, and arts-based advocacy, Aisha has helped Every Girl’s Dream directly and indirectly reach more than 20,000 people across Isiolo County. Her organization has also supported vulnerable girls to remain in school, including helping 13 girls secure secondary school scholarships.

Aisha is affiliated with the Isiolo Survivors Network, Frontline End FGM, and the sister-to-Sister Initiative. As a member of the Brave Survivors Council, she is committed to strengthening survivor-led advocacy, influencing policy and practice, and championing a future where every girl is safe, educated, and empowered to realize her full potential.

"I hope this Ministerial Conference to End Violence Against Children transforms ideas into commitments, commitments into action, and our collective efforts into meaningful, lasting change for the people we serve."
