Launch of catalytic grants for national platforms

The Brave Movement is launching a rapid catalytic grants cycle, for implementation in 2026. The purpose of these grants is to enable Brave national platforms to launch, grow, and sustain their work, by providing small, strategic, survivor-led grants to accelerate advocacy, skills strengthening, healing, and sustainability.

Please note that only national platforms are eligible for funding – individual Brave members are not.

There are two streams of funding available in this cycle. National platforms may apply for one or both of the funding streams, but each platform is eligible to receive only one grant, in the amount of USD $5,000.

• Catalytic grant I: Out of the Shadows Index Advocacy Grants. Grantees will use the funds to implement advocacy activities using national or regional findings from the 2026 Out of the Shadows Index, with the objective of advancing government accountability to take action on sexual violence against children.
• Catalytic grant II: Brave Movement Grants. Grantees will use the funds to implement advocacy activities, host events, or take other actions relevant to the Brave Movement's broader mission.
