Join Global Mobilization on 18 November 2022 for the 2nd Annual World Day for Prevention, Healing and Justice to End Childhood Sexual Violence
Won’t you join us? Help us spread the word!
This 18 November, let’s join forces around the 2nd Annual World Day for Prevention, Healing and Justice to End Childhood Sexual Violence. Help us make some noise and demand action as we build on the groundbreaking work of the Global Collaborative to establish a World Day and the Council of Europe’s European Day on the Protection of Children Against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse endorsed by 46 member countries.
The Brave Movement’s survivors and allies are joining forces to demand bold action by G7 leaders and governments around the world to invest billions in solutions to end childhood sexual violence in every nation.
We are asking Brave members and allies to participate by shooting short videos directly on their phones. Videos should be compelling, engaging and carry a concrete call for action. Submission deadline extended to November 15!
We have evidence-based solutions to know what works and what action is needed. The Brave Movement and its partners want G7 and global leaders to act now to implement proactive solutions for prevention, healing and justice and to make real investments, both domestically and globally. Check out the latest messaging here.
Please use the following hashtags and handles when promoting the campaign:
Make your voice heard by sending a postcard to G7 leaders! We need them to make bold commitments during the G7 Interior Ministers’ Meeting on November 16-18, so that all children and adolescents can be safe and free from sexual violence. Now is the time to make your voice heard and ensure they listen to Brave's demands. Use this simple tool to create and customize your own advocacy postcard and send it to each of the G7 interior, home and security ministers. You can add your own message telling the ministers why they should listen. Watch the video below to learn more about this initiative.
