Highlights from SAGE Member Florence Keya.
The day started with a procession of more than 3000 children and ended in a town hall meeting for children. They had a Brave tent where children were taught about body safety and other issues around sexual violence. They also had a Q&A for children, on how to protect themselves and report any sexual violence.
The town hall included face painting and educational workshops. Stickers, posters and wristbands were given out to children to take home.
Other partners signed the Brave banner and committed to ending childhood sexual violence.
