Childhood sexual violence is a global scourge, affecting at least one in five girls and one in ten boys in every country around the world. It undermines other investments in child health, education, gender equality, and sustainable development. The COVID-19 pandemic, conflicts on our borders and around the world, and climate change, are exposing children everywhere to even greater risk.
